On the hot summer days, a walk through the park is a nice chance to refresh yourself. The green scenery and the river that surrounds the park create a comfortable atmosphere in the heat. The ducks and Carps that inhabit the park’s waters will also keep company to those passing by.
The sakura tunnel, one of the main attractions of the park during the cherry blossom festival, becomes a big green corridor during summer days, with many seats available to rest and admire the river and the Shunyo-bashi bridge, one of the most iconic spots in the park.
Inside the park, it is possible to enjoy the shade of the cherry and pine trees and admire the green scenery of the gardens during summertime.
