On the last Sunday in May each year, the Hirosaki Castle Keep and the Hirosaki Castle Botanical Garden are open to the public free of charge.
This year 2025, that day is May 25th.
On this day only, visitors can view the paid areas, which normally require an admission fee, for free.
The Hirosaki Castle Botanical Garden, located in Hirosaki Park, is home to 124,000 trees and plants belonging to 1,500 species.
