Due to heavy snowfall, many pine and cherry trees in Hirosaki Park have fallen, and most of the park is now closed to visitors for their safety.
The Hirosaki City government is in the process of removing the fallen trees, and the Hirosaki Castle Snow Lantern Festival will be held in February.
